I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for great art teachers and sewing courses throughout high school. So I went on a search to find a school in need and was touched by Ms. Sandler’s story. She’s a teacher in Manchester, Connecticut seeking money to purchase a bulletin board to display her student’s sewing projects.
Displaying the student’s work will help promote the sewing courses offered at Manchester High and hopefully get kids interested in a really fun profession =)
So I’m starting small (and hoping that this snowballs into something big!). This week I promise to donate $10 from each leather tassel sold in my Etsy shop (www.cravebycrv.etsy.com) to this cause. Any tassel, any size, any color, I’ll donate (they’re my best seller).
I’m also challenging you to pay it forward. It will feel good =) Let’s help Ms. Sandler’s class reach their goal!
